Job: EVS Technician

Primary Purpose

Under general supervision performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways and other assigned areas of the facility.   Duties include but are not limited to:

• Clean and disinfect surfaces.
• Distribute clean linens to user departments.
• Transports and stores medical waste, trash and soiled linen to user departments.
• Completes special projects as assigned.

Experience, Skills and Abilities

• One-year housekeeping experience preferred
• Floor care experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Education and Training

• High School or equivalent.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
