    Every Moment Makes a Difference

    Every Moment Makes a Difference

“You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give.”
    ~Winston Churchill

April 7th- 13th was National Volunteer Week, and BVCHD could not do the work we do without our amazing volunteers.

Our Hospital Foundation has provided BVCHD with countless hours/dollars over the years and has most recently obtained a van that will be used to transport our Skilled Nursing Residents to social outings in the community. The Foundation hosts several fundraising events throughout the year including the Humanitarian of the Year, End of Year Appeal and a benefit concert coming this fall- more to come on this later-

Our Hospital Auxiliary has provided a substantial amount of hours volunteering in both our front lobby as well as in the Emergency Room in the busy winter season. Affectionately known as The Pink Ladies, the Auxiliary hosts various fundraising events throughout the year such as the annual Golf Tournament, Mall in the Hall, The Scrub Event, and many others in an effort to continue enhancing BVCHD.

Thank you so much to the many volunteers we have here at BVCHD. Please know that you are truly appreciated.

If you or someone you know would be interested in becoming a volunteer at BVCHD, we have several different opportunities for you to get involved. Please contact:
