The Licensed Vocational Nurse works under the Director of Outpatient Services in conjunction with other clinical staff, providing quality care for the patients, assisting physicians and clinic providers, interacting with personnel in other departments, communicating with patients within the frame work of the philosophy and policies established by the clinics and the hospital. The Licensed Vocational Nurse shows genuine warmth with patients and has the ability to make them feel comfortable in the clinic while providing assistance to clinical providers. The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides basic nursing care to patients and accepts non-patient duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent. Must possess a current California LVN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong leadership and communication skills required. Two (2) years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting required. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly desired.
